    We trust you are well and are looking forward to an exciting and challenging academic year.

    The Northern Cape Postgraduate Research Support Group will tomorrow,13 February 2021 at 10h00 host its inaugural virtual colloquium, and invites you to be part of it.

    The topic for the Colloquium is, "An introduction to Research", where the key focus areas will be developing your research question, your research statement and ultimately your research objective.

    The session will be chaired and facilitated by Dr Gail Parker. Professor Andrew Crouch, the Vice Chancellor of Sol Plaatje University(SPU) will be our keynote speaker and we will be joined by Carina Truyts, a lecturer at SPU who is currently doing her PHD at Deakin University in Melbourne, Australia. She will be presenting her own research proposal that she is currently working on as a case study for our sitting.

    Thereafter, Professor King Costa, from the Global Centre for Academic Research will be giving us key pointers and critiques to embarking on a sound postgraduate research journey.

    The main purpose of the Colloquium however, will be to engage you, as members of the group on your questions and queries regarding your own research journeys.
